Thank you everyone! This year's Children's Week was a tremendous success. It was extremely important to bring the faces of more than 2,000 children and families together to the State Capitol on April 1st to promote collaboration and voice their opinions to the Florida Legislature on behalf of over 80 non-profit, public, private, corporate and philanthropic organizations across the state.
Together with the Florida Children's Summit, Children's Week has proven to be a real symbol for change and collaboration in the State of Florida. The 13th Annual Children's Week and its over 80 non-profit and corporate partners hope to continue this collaboration and work with the Florida Legislature to once again make our annual "Children's Capitol for a Day" one of the biggest events to take place during Legislative Session.
For those not able to make it to Tallahassee on April 1st, the "Kids Only" Town Hall Meeting featuring student panelists and members of the Florida Children and Youth Cabinet will be broadcast statewide on The Florida Channel - check local cable listings for station in your area.
